Located in the heart of Europe is one of the most fortified and massive underground survival shelters on Earth. Carved out of solid bedrock, under a 400′ tall mountain, by the Soviets during the Cold War, this shelter was a fortress for military equipment and munitions. Now privately owned, this 76 acre above and below ground hardened facility is capable of withstanding a substantial close range nuclear blast, a direct airliner crash, biological and chemical agents, massive shock waves, earthquakes, electro-magnetic pulses, flooding and virtually any armed attack.
This irreplaceable complex is now being re-tasked as Vivos Europa One, becoming the world’s largest private underground shelter for long-term, uncompromising protection for families and their groups, along with their most precious assets when no other above-ground exfiltration solution will suffice.
The underground complex includes over 23,000 square meters (227,904 square feet) of secured, blast proof living areas; and, an additional 4,079 square meters (43,906 square feet) of above-ground office, apartments, warehouse buildings, and its own train depot. Collectively there are over 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) of continuous tunnel chambers.
Vivos Europa One is currently in full operational condition, ready for improvements to the common area and the 34 private living quarters. When completed, Vivos Europa One will allow these select families to autonomously survive virtually any catastrophe or disaster for several years without needing to return to the surface.
Vivos Europa One will be the largest of all Vivos underground shelter complexes and a modern day Noah’s Ark. Each family will be provided a private 232m2 (2,500 square foot) floor area, capable of two-story living quarters, with a build-out potential of up to 465m2 (5,000 square feet). With fit and finish comparable to a mega-yacht, each family will commission the outfitting of their living quarters to their bespoke standards. Private improvements will include all of the typical amenities enjoyed by their floating counterparts, including pools, theaters, gyms, a kitchen, bar, bedrooms and deluxe bathrooms. The possibilities are limited only by each member’s personal desire and requirements.
Once each member’s private accommodations are completed, furnished and fully outfitted, their respective quarters will be locked and secured, limiting access only to their family and personal staff prior to a potential lockdown. Vivos will operate and maintain all common areas (under and above-ground) pending a catastrophic event with full time staffing and security personnel.
Members will arrive at their own discretion, prior to lockdown, by car or private planes that may be landed at nearby airports. Vivos helicopters will then be deployed to rendezvous with each member group, and fly them back to the shelter compound, safely secured from the general public, behind sealed and secured walls, gates and blast doors.
